The Centre

At the Seedlings base in Brockenhurst there’s a relaxed atmosphere and a wealth of information about services relevant to families.

There's a small meeting room where some of our groups and activities take place. Parents can also arrange to talk in confidence with one of the team here. There are plenty of toys to keep your children happy and the kettles always on!

Uniquely in the New Forest the main service provided by Seedlings comes from our fantastic mobile centre. The brightly painted bus brings children's centres services to your community. On board you'll find all the services you would expect from a children's centre.

Seedlings provides a service to families from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday with some activities running at weekends. Details of regular sessions, special events and the timetable for the mobile centre can be found in our current programme.

Seedlings is a Sure Start Children's Centre and part of the government’s vision to ensure by 2010 every child has the support they need to get the best start in life. The services we offer at Seedlings are based on what local families tell us they need.
